Kevin Gray is a magazine writer who covers business, crime, politics and international affairs. He also writes about gender in America. His work has appeared in numerous magazines, including Conde Nast Portfolio, Details, The New York Times Magazine, New York and Newsweek. He is a former producer at CNN, where he covered business news.
Kevin’s work has taken him around the globe and into some of the weirder corners of American life. He has written about war in the Congo; sex slave traffickers in Romania; Hezbollah’s uprising in Lebanon; death squads in Colombia; as well as American serial killers; white supremacists; suburban swingers; and lesbians under siege in Mississippi.
He is a graduate of the University of Michigan, and holds a master’s degree in English and critical theory from the Center for Writers at The University of Southern Mississippi.
